Tengu are the Japanese mythical beasts, part man, part crow. Ancient folklore suggests that the ninja were the descendents of the Tengu and took their orders from these shadowy creatures.

Featuring original hand drawn artwork by Meerkatsu, this premium quality tee is printed using water based inks onto soft, ringspun cotton for that comfortable hand-made feel. On the front design, katana swords cross behind the central Tengu bird character and shuriken ninja blades decorate the outer edges. The Japanese kanji character 忍 (nin), from the word nin-ja, is at the bottom. 

The back design features another hand drawn tengu this time in more human form and at the base is the kanji for - 烏天狗 karasu tengu (crow tengu).
